MRS. DANDILY AND THE VILLAGERS

Mrs. Dandily was old, yet just and kind. A few decades ago, she married the richest of the rich who later died defending the Indians in the great British war. All of his fortune was now Mrs. Dandily’s.  She pondered and pondered what to do with, but there was no need for the thought came to her. One day she was taking a stroll in her carriage when the horses got quite frightened by a sudden leap of a stray dog. The horses ran wild and, in some time, Mrs. Dandily found herself in a distant village. All was drab and all was dull. She noticed that the villagers looked quite unhappy and quite not content. Though Mrs. Dandily was rich, she wasn’t spoilt. She was quite tender hearted and felt it was her mission to bring joy to the villagers hearts. Mrs. Dandily was weak and could not do it all by herself. First, she hired henchmen, and workmen. Then she payed them to construct a garden and wells all around the village. Yes, it took time, yes, it took patience. But after a few years the village was full of greenery and the villagers were so grateful. They offered Mrs. Dandily a great many things but as I said before, Mrs. Dandily was anything but spoilt. She refused and said ‘’Your happiness is my payment.”After about 5 years she came back to that village and was not at all surprised to see that now the villagers were quite happy and content with their surroundings. When the villagers saw her, they rushed over to welcome her and said, “Than you for making our village as beautiful as it is now, if it had not been for you, our village would have now been in ruins, thank you so muck=h for what you did for us” Mrs. Dandily then replied, “It was my pleasure and I too am happy to see you all having fun and being so pleased with your surroundings.” Saying that she breathed her last breath. Even through she was forever gone, the villagers never forget her, they used always say that our village would not have been what it is now if not for that kind woman, Mrs. Dandily. 

Story : MR. HICKERSON

MR. HICKERSON was old, mean, and scary.

​He lived in the village named Greensville on the top of a hill.

​He had no servants, children or family.

​His house was, creaky, spooky and scary and his garden was large but unkept and full of weeds.

​

Every day he used to go down to the well to collect water that would last him for the day.

​One day he lost his way to the well as he had poor and short memory.

​He ended up in a forest at the edge of the village.

​The bushes were healthy but bushy and the trees…... Oh! the trees were so luscious and green.

​

Mr. Hickerson was tempted to eat all the fruits in one go, but he filled them in the buckets that he was supposed to fill water in and took the home

​Every day he would take half the buckets for fruit and half for water. When he reached his home, he spat the seeds in his garden.

​After a few years guavas, bananas, pumpkins and……all sorts of fruits and vegetables started to grow in Mr. Hickerson's garden.

Everyone in the village squinted their eyes to see what was growing on the hill.

Mr. Hickerson had picked fruit for years but in return he planted trees that would stand strong and silent and remind the villagers of his good deed

Mother nature

Mother Nature a spirit,
a force of energy,  power and strength,
Mother Nature a momentum of peace,
yet still so intense.
We humans stand here blindly,
unknown to the secrets of life,

Saving natural resources

God created nature before mankind, so let us learn how to respect it before it is too late. Mother nature provided us home's and different wonders. We are just destroying her gift.

Let's move on to our new daily beginners task -

List at least 5 different ways to save our natural resources. Innovative solutions are encouraged rather than the common solutions like not throwing plastic in water and using paper bag's.
